At Steel Physique we provide our clients, men, women and children, with one on one personalized training. That means, depending on your goals, objectives and desires, we create a training plan to fit your unique needs. Since we are a personal training studio, we have the ability to offer a more exclusive partnership with our clients. Our environment is family oriented, unpretentious, and supportive. Steel Physique is an excellent option for clientele who may be uncomfortable in a large gym atmosphere.

Are you ever tempted to blow off your workouts? Are you ever tempted to sleep just 1 more hour instead of getting up early for an early morning workout? Are you just too tired after you get home from work? When you do cardio, do you ever quit early even though you know you could keep going for a few more minutes? When you work out with weights, do you sometimes give up even though you know you have a few more reps in you?

If you answered YES, then we are here to motivate you, inspire you and keep you accountable. And being accountable is one of the biggest secrets to motivation. We're certain that you will push yourself harder when someone is looking over your shoulder during a training session.

At Steel Physique, we will accommodate your training needs whether you train once, twice, or three times a week. Our training sessions are up to 55 minutes in length, depending on your goals and conditioning. We offer 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 sessions per package.

Steel Physique Membership

Effective July 1, 2009 Fit Meals of Steel will be offering month to month memberships to our Steel Physique personal training studio. The membership fee is $25 which entitles you to access to our studio and equipment, without a trainer. Certain hour restrictions apply at this time but are subject to change:

  • Mon-Thurs 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
  • Friday 1:00 pm - 7:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Sunday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

I have been overweight for more than 10 years. Since I was a child I have struggled with diets and working out, which I despise (I am NOT fan of sweating). But since September 2007 I have lost nearly 30 lbs. (1/2 of my total weight loss goal). While it is a personal choice to maintain a healthy diet and work out aggressively, this time around I had a secret weapon, my trainer Vanessa Boswell. Vanessa inspires and encourages me, both as a trainer and a friend. She has always been realistic with me concerning my weight goals, but positive and upbeat about it. After so many failed attempts to lose weight I went into this whole process with a "glass half empty attitude", but having Vanessa believe in me, made me believe in myself. At my first weight in and measurement after a month of diet and working out, Vanessa glowed and talked about how proud she was for me. Because to Vanessa, her trainees are not clients they are friends, who she want to help succeed and be happy. Now that is not to say that Vanessa will let you off easily. Anyone who has worked out with Vanessa knows they should be wary when she uses the term "fun" in reference to working out. Vanessa will push you beyond what you think you can do, because she knows that you can exceed you expectations and your limitations. I never thought I would be the person I am today, in body or spirit, and that I owe to Vanessa.

Almost 5 years ago, right after I graduated from college, I was working out at Bally's when I was approached by the fitness director asking me if I ever thought about being a personal trainer. That was the day my life started to change. I've always had to work very hard to be good at things, but with personal training, it just came easy. It is not a job to me, it's my passion!

I've always had a desire to help people and now I get to do that everyday. As trainer you get to be the motivator, the counselor, the friend and so much more. Your clients trust you 100% with everything! I've been so blessed in the last 5 years with all my clients. Some of them are my very best friends and have become like family. During the season of fitness/figure competition, they motivate me just as much as I motivate them. My motto at the very start with a new client is "You can do anything for 30 days!" Just ask around to my clients on how that 30 days turned into a life changing event!
